Greetings! I'm Scott Aaron Dombrowski...husband, father, photographer since 1992, educator since 2003, located in the Chicagoland area. My passion is for fine art photography and the conceptual landscape.
I find myself influenced by Shel Silverstein, C.S. Lewis, Rembrandt and the history of the photographic landscape (particularly the transition from the geographic surveys of the 1800's through the monumental, spiritual, and environmental contemporary landscape). Throw in a little philosophy and science and we'll be getting a little closer. You can't have one without the others!
No matter the subject, my work falls into the collision of the environment and human behavior, the line between where the environment and the human story merge. This is likely due ot moving around the country as a kid, being a road trip junkie, and always ready for a new adventure.
